Alexis' Lace Blouse

I found a really cute pattern in the April 08' issue of Knit & Style to make for my niece Alexis. Her birthday is coming up soon and she always loves everything I make for her. I have taken some pictures but need to load them on my computer for uploading..... maybe tomorrow.
I made the one for an 8 yr old and used the Caron Country left overs from my lace cardigan (I had 3 skeins and used just about all of it on size US 6 needles. The only thing I would do differently if I make this again is knit in the round so there isn't any side seaming, it would look better in the lace part.

Knit with US 6 needles
Yarn - Country, naturallycaron.com, color Spruce (wool/acrylic blend)

Cabled Tank

This is a pattern out of Creative knitting also, the cabled tank. I had to alter the pattern slightly to fit me, It came out quite nice. Yarn used was Berroco Bonsai in color - Japanese Maple. Knit using US 6 circular needles

Lace cardigan

I found this pattern in the creative knitting magazine it had pearls on the pattern, however I didn't want to add those anyway I used a hook and eye for the closure. This was knit with a bamboo/acrylic blend can't remember the brand but will look at the label and add later. Knit on US 6 needles.

Summer Tank

I made this tank using Knit Picks Sparkles in Beach and Lion Brand Microspun in Vanilla... It actually came out quite nice. and the microspun is very soft I will be using this again for other projects.
